STONEWALL COMMITTEE

We have been invited to be a vendor at the 2009 Conference of the New York State School Counselor Association, which will be held in Syracuse, New York on October 23 and 24.  We will distribute materials to counselors on dealing with bullying in public schools, and contact information for the many resources available to counselors and educators in New York for helping LGBTQ students in their school systems.

The organizations that will help us with resources for the presentation of materials at this Conference include the Empire State Pride Agenda, GLSEN and Lambda Legal Defense Fund.

We have received donations through the chip in we set up, and donations via mail.  We have registered for the conference and begun to copy literature to hand out at the conference.  Please check back for more detail as we prepare for the conference.
