The highlight of our work at the Fair in 2009 was collecting petitions in support of Marriage Equality, GENDA (Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act) and the Dignity For All Students Act. The petitions were collected at the booth, and sent to the Empire State Pride Agenda in Albany, where they were sorted and forwarded to appropriate members of the New York State Senate and the Speaker of the Senate.
